Every since the personal computer burst onto the scene, people have naturally been searching for computer jobs at home. It just makes sense. If you spend a lot of time on the internet, why not use that time to make a living, or at least add some extra income to the family budget?
You might think of the housewife, up to her arm pits with “ankle biters” (kids), trying to find a way to make some extra money while trapped in the house all day. But that’s not the case so much any more. A lot of people have left the 9-5 rat race in favor of simply working from home. So maybe the main household income is now generated right from their computer.
The concept is simple, but not exactly EASY! There are some special skills and knowledge required before quitting your job to work in your pajamas everyday in front of your computer. The most important thing is to chose an area or field where you actually have some experience. Don’t just jump on the first opportunity you come across, it may be a terrible fit for you.
But let’s say you have some experience with stamp collecting, or tree trimming, or cake decorating or just whatever. With your internet connection, it’s easier than ever before to get that expertise out to the masses. And there are tons of people out there willing to pay for that information. Do you start to see the “marketplace”?
But not all computer jobs at home are exactly alike. I mean some people may really enjoy writing, and there are lots and lots of people out there who don’t and are willing to pay for those skills, instant job. While other people enjoy watching live online auctions to get a good deal, then they turn around and sell the item for a profit, instant job. The most important thing is to stick with something you like. If you can’t stand building websites, how long do you think you could last building websites for a living?
If you really like the idea of working from home, in front of your computer, you have lots of choices. Basically, you will want to take something where you have experience and expertise, find a market who is looking for that, and make it available. Let’s say you like to make videos from photographs, think about who might really like that service. People celebrating weddings, anniversaries, graduations, birthdays, would love to pay you for that service.
Some of the more popular computer jobs at home are: affiliate marketing, writing, eBay and other online auctions, all sorts of technical skills (like coding, programming, video, etc.), even taking online surveys can pay well. Just find something you really enjoy and go with it!

One of the ways you can profit from the Google AdWords system is by doing some research on some of the more common Google search terms (known as keywords). There are many companies out there who have a product or service to sell who need to drive more traffic to their websites. This traffic is in the form of visitors to their websites.
To create this increased traffic, they engage in programs called affiliate marketing. This is where other persons (affiliates) allow the merchant to use some space on their site for an advertisement and link to the merchants site.
This way, any visitors to this site (which could be a site you have set up as part of your legitimate work from home job) might be enticed to click the link and visit the merchants site. You then receive a commission for each purchase made by someone who has reached their site through yours.
Great, but how do you get these visitors to your site? Simple. You write articles which are relevant to the product or service sold by the merchant (having done your research on keywords, you should choose an affiliate marketing program which can tie in to one of these common searches to maximize your income).
These articles can be placed on your site and/or submitted to the many article directories on the internet. These articles can include links at the bottom, which can include a link to the merchant’s website even. This allows you to make money in affiliate marketing without even having a website!
Affiliate marketing is, of course, only one of the many legitimate work from home job options out there nowadays, but it is one well worth looking into if you are interested in “firing your boss” and working a real work at home business. You may be amazed how rewarding your home based business using computer can be!

Home Based Business Using Computer – Network Marketing Strategy

For those that are looking for a network marketing strategy or home based business using computer and the internet, you are definitely moving in the right direction. There are over 150,000 people a week getting started in some sort of home based business. Sadly enough, almost 95% fail and there are a variety of reasons for that. Several common causes are:
Lack of training and support – This is actually the biggest cause of failure. In several cases, when I was searching the internet for a way to work at home, I would sign up for an opportunity and then I couldn’t find hide nor hair of anybody to find out what I do next! And the truth of the matter is, that most of those 150,000 are people just like I was…looking for a way to work at home but have no clue what to look for or what to do once they invested in a home business! Looking for ‘pie in the sky’ success – we are sold this image all over the internet that you can be a millionaire overnight when you get started with the right network marketing strategy…. Bogus! A home based business using computer, internet and network marketing is still a business! Treat it like a business and you will get paid like a business… Treat it as a hobby and it will cost you like a hobby! Companies failing and disappearing – This happens all the time with ‘fly by night MLM companies’ that start up and disappear again. This is especially true with online business scams where there is no product except for perhaps some ebook or other digital product.
You can find a REAL home business, marketing REAL products and it will make you REAL money…. but it will take REAL work and effort, consistency and persistence. The numbers are increasing daily of six and seven figure income earners that are working from home. People are leaving their corporate jobs by droves and getting started in network marketing.
